About Tony Schimony
Tony has been serving clients as a financial professional for over 25 years in the tri-state area and east coast states. Right out of college, having received both a BS in Finance and a BS in Business Administration from Kutztown University, Tony began his career heading up a division of John Hancock Insurance Co., specializing in long-term Care and elder planning. As his career progressed and opportunities presented themselves, he continued to build his repertoire of programs and products to assist in personal planning by joining one of the largest financial institutions in the world, the retail brokerage called UBS.
Having gained vast knowledge of financial markets and security-based products, in 2001 Tony then steered his career into the independent side of the industry to allow him to continue to provide strategies that served clients’ best interests and not be held captive to the products of any one firm. Since starting KARS in 2001, Tony has helped hundreds of clients secure their retirement, protect assets, collect guaranteed income, and pass estates to heirs tax-free by utilizing the relationships he has with some of the best financial firms in the world.
Personally, Tony has been married to his wife, Danielle, for over 20 years and is the proud father of son, Ethan, and daughter, Abbey. Time spent with family generally includes trips to their second home in South Carolina, trips to Walt Disney Orlando, trips to watch any level of baseball game that might be being played that day, or any beach that is within reach. Tony has coached baseball at almost every level for over 25 years and volunteered with such organizations as AARP and Centre for Aging to help with tax prep and educational seminar classes. The family owns two dogs, Titus and Yogi, who they enjoy very much.
